GW Chinese Soccer team just celebrated its 5 year anniversary. The team was established by a group of soccer fans from GWU in the fall of 1997. We have been continuously playing soccer game every Saturday since the formation of the team, no matter it rains or snows, holidays or long weekends. We regard soccer as part of our life. We not only play soccer together, we also host parties to bring families and friends together, go outdoor for hiking, picnic or BBQ.  Going to beach is also scheduled once or twice a year. 

          While many old team players left the team and move to other cities, we are still maintaining a list of nearly 40 members and about 20 members are playing every Saturday. Not only do we continuously refresh the team with new members from GWU, we also welcome Chinese professionals and students from DC metro area to join us.  We even have players in NJ, CA, Baltimore who would come back occasionally during the weekend to play soccer.

          Our fundamental goal is to build up ourselves and play for fun while maintaining a good relationship among team members.
